The angle of the steps that lead to the cabin is increased for 15 degrees, enabling the operators to walk up if they do not prefer climbing vertically. The cabin has a new and innovative door design and a lower glass panel for increased visibility. The larger mirrors also improve the operator visibility.
The Caterpillar 966M and 972M loaders are equipped with a color touch screen that monitors many actions and simplifies the loader operation.
