For example, 2012 was all about vegetarian, gluten-free and low-calorie food. And every restaurant kitchen followed these trends in order to satisfy existing customers and gain new ones. Growing number of restaurants ditched the traditional way of reserving a table for a more modern ‘first come, first serve’ sort of method. This ‘no reservations’ trend allows restaurants to acquire new customers and also gives people an opportunity to dine in different restaurants and try out new delicious dishes.

Korean food – The Korean cuisine has become one of the most popular cuisines in the world. The unique ingredients, cooking techniques and bold flavors similar to Chinese and Japanese cuisines, have become one of the most sought-after meals worldwide. Make sure you try a Korean dish before you welcome 2014. You will be pleasantly surprised.

Smaller portions – Numerous high end restaurants follow this trend and customers simply love it. Standard size dishes which feature one type of food are replaced with dishes which feature smaller portions of two or more various dishes. The results are great as people love this choice of trying out different flavours.
